There is an increasing awareness on the major benefits of using soil-geosynthetic composite (SGC) to achieve and maintain stability earth-filled embankment. Unlike mechanically stabilized earth wall, mechanism mass still not fully understood. For examples, current analyses have been limited SGC with a reinforcement spacing Sv 0.2 m only; combined effect backfill properties rarely studied; equation for estimation load-carrying capacity has only validated maximum particle size dmax between 10 mm 33 Sv/dmax ratio 6 20. The consequences compaction different spacings are yet be whether would applicable materials falling outside above ranges. Through simulation validation field scale mass, this study aims assess influence various parameters mechanical responses large-scale experimental under its working load failure conditions; results presented in terms wrapped face lateral displacement, axial strain, capacity.
